Okay I admit it I can't understand or even

Appreciate modern poetry so I wonder if

I'm deficient in some vitamin or maybe

I'm missing a particular chromosome all

I can say is I wish I could understand

It because well it sort of makes me feel

Like an idiot when everybody else really

Digs this stuff and I'm like what and I

Can't even get a clue as to what this

Thing is about I mean you begin to feel

Like you're some kind of alien or something

That came from another galaxy well maybe

That's it remember they used to have other

Galaxies on television years ago and everything

Was either black or white or gray anyhow please

Don't think I whining so that I can get you

To tell me I'm not an idiot I mean I know I'm

Not one I just said that I f*****g feel like one.

i think we rarely latch on to exactly what a poet was thinking when he or she wrote a piece...and i don't think it matters all that much, to figure it out.

it's just about getting whatever we get from a piece...and letting it touch us in some way...
