Life itself a mystery

Life itself a mystery

A Poem by Firestone Feinberg

Life itself a mystery --
Never to be known --
You take it at its own
Word -- you listen carefully --

Be what you hear as roaring wave
As ocean in your soul
And try tho' you -- to be brave --
The story -- ever old --

Tells you -- and you not it --
No matter what you ask of it --
Till all that is be done -- --
Till all that is be done.

Yes, life itself is a mystery. We never know why and how things happen each moment...only Him knows each. We never know His plans...because life...is from HIM.

Thanks for a meaningful piece here, Sir.

You're welcome, Sir. :)
I don't think anyone will ever understand life, thank goodness. I see in your poem that you have used different rhyming sequences in the three stanzas. I find that very interesting! I also like the way the second verse runs into the last. A bit like the flow of life.
