Life itself a mystery

Life itself a mystery

A Poem by Firestone Feinberg

Life itself a mystery --
Never to be known --
You take it at its own
Word -- you listen carefully --

Be what you hear as roaring wave
As ocean in your soul
And try tho' you -- to be brave --
The story -- ever old --

Tells you -- and you not it --
No matter what you ask of it --
Till all that is be done -- --
Till all that is be done.
