HELP WANTED: PROPRIETOR TAKES VACATION



HELP WANTED: Proprietor takes vacation
From self.  Need someone to water garden
And take out trash and also remember.

All applicants please send resumés Here --
Or send them There -- without explanation.
If ambiguous, we beg your pardon.

Prefer an irresponsible member
Of society.  Will consider Martian.
Need individual next November --

Or another week. R.S.V.P. None.

Wanting to dissapear, to vanish for a while, but being tied down by a crushing routine... The proprietor wishes to leave, but he knows he won't... No Martian to rescue him from his life... That last word "none", says so much. At least, that what I got out of it... This is very moving, thanks for sharing.

not being tied to what we are supposed to do, but just doing it.
