I will go

Train

We take trips, as a way to be with ourselves, or to run away from ourselves... To be with loved ones, or to forget the loves we lost? Hm, I like the last stanza a lot, it's a departure, something breaking, perhaps something being renewed, hard to say. Going by himself, alone, could be a positive thing, then again, maybe not. I enjoy all the interpretations we can read into this great piece. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

Thanks very much for your thoughtful review. I wrote this one a while ago. It's easy to remember! You're right about the various trips we might take. Even today I have no clear idea about what I meant in that last stanza. I guess it's not to be known... although there is a sadness about it, I think. Hope you're well and thanks again. --David
