You were my only love.

You were my only love.

A Poem by Poe Met Emily

You were my only love.
You made me into who I am today.
I feel God sent you from above.
No better words could I say.

But you leave me breath less, more and more.
You make me feel in ways
I have never felt before,
No better words could I say.

Giving me life, you made me so well.
I had no Sun till you came around;
Holding who I am so tightly under your trance;
I have yet to be let down.

For every breath that you take,
I count the stars like the rain
That keeps falling in your name's sake;
Washing away the pain.

And all my fears start melting away in silence,
Living to fall for you each day.
I feel your embrace though I may be distant;
Feeling your heart beat beneath my veins.
