Cleaning Out.

Cleaning Out.

A Poem by Poe Met Emily

What am I doing, living to see you smile?
Burning flesh, melted wax, scratched out faces.
My mother would be ashamed of my negative deluges.
I am sinking into headaches and fate-less woes.
Should I have listened, I would have never met you.
But in this state of mind, fear comes alive.
What good is fear to me if I have lost everything?
You drifted in, I fell at your sight,
And you have me under your spell so sweetly.
But what hold do I even have on you?
I can't put you in ink nor caress the love I feel!
You of all I have gained I wish to never lose.
