Natural.A Poem by Poe Met EmilySo I remember the lonely days I spent by the window, the mornings lost under the covers to stay evermore cold, quiet shivers that shook out the tears. My heart begins to drop and I wear my coat of insecurities and lawless thoughts in pending status. My mother would holler till I knew one more octave would break my defenses, a natural isolation. Darkness became my ongoing sleep no one would wake me from and I knew I was ill again and again. I just want you to make sense to me but I am confused by your mysterious shadows. It has got me spinning faster than the world in seasons and I just want it all to become resolved.
