Path Woven.

Path Woven.

A Poem by Poe Met Emily

You ever think about the nights we spent
as children running under the stars
catching little fireflies till we were drained?
I counted a million and you were the brightest,
the brightest in my heart shaped jar.
Though I kept running, collapsing,
I kept that jar and see it when I close my eyes.
Believe, I'll wait to surrender again.
