Ballad for the Orphans.A Poem by Poe Met Emilyremember the balance we kept tipping nimble fingers attatched to timid hands animate my life so quickly a scene i have not buried under pain the sun was low but you looked angelic your eyes misted with a tired smile i wondered if i had killed you then would i have fallen to pieces in your arms remember the floor slipping away you kept scooting closer and i wanted your arms around me i wanted so badly to taste your lips to hold your heart the way you already held mine
