Marmalade.

Marmalade.

A Poem by Poe Met Emily

Sleep seems impossible to come by,
A fight I tend to lose more often than win.
I was left wondering what would ever be said
If life without you was worth living for.
It blurs and trembles away like my smiles do.
You keep me walking but he pulls at my bones.
I feel sick and under weight.
No one told me what was really going on inside them,
So use to the endless silence.
My heart is aching, I'm too withdrawn to be angry;
But I know better. I know better.
Calmed in a way that leaves them thinking.
I don't feel well anymore.
