Such Familiar Grounds.

Look at me!, I hear myself screaming,
red painted walls, white knuckles, my jaw locked;
and the foundation is coming unglued.

No matter what I do, it is bound to happen.
So see me as you please, as you please love.
Yes, I see differently.

I am not so glorious as you,
and my words fail me once more.
I hate myself.
