This Is Twice Now.A Poem by Poe Met EmilyYou stand there, arms open wide, waiting like a saint. I stand at this distance like a coward. Horrid am I! Disgraceful, disappointed to you. I hurt the One I love yet again... This needs to stop... I am wearing into your bones effortlessly, Your eyes burning into my memory. There is a knife inside my chest, But my hands are on the inside, Pushing you out, such a waste of your time. Buckle and bend, I have fucked up yet again.
