A Poem by Poe Met Emily

It seems likes we lose ourselves in between,
and it's killing one of us so slowly.
My heart aches to make yours pound.
My soul yearns to love you so beautifully.
I want to hold you close and feel whole.
These thoughts scare me, those bad hallucinations start.

"My heart aches to make your pound." I love this line! It is a great analogy for describing the determination of love. Great poem! :)
