Shock Waves.A Poem by Poe Met EmilyIf I start down a road without my Lantern, could you send me a line, a live wire to the Light? Maybe God knows where you will take me. Forgive me if I have disheartened you! I wanted to become magnificent, a Beacon to the sails, but all I have been is a faulty Lighthouse. My short-circuits keep me in my company, and I cannot find the Main shore. Yet, you come along.
