A Poem by Poe Met Emily

The questions start to circle my head.
But I find no rest in my lonesome bed.

I should not doubt you the way I do.
My natural defense is showing through.

If you must leave to save yourself from me,
Don't hesitate to make me see.

I've been on my toes again
Saying my apologies for no damn reason.

Old news, I've been here before.
But when it comes to you, I want more.
