Sun Rise.

Sun Rise.

A Poem by Poe Met Emily

I saw the break of dawn,
The glorious lights first shining.
My eyes were captured in the hues,
Fragments of butterfly wings,
Angel feathers drifting across the wake.
I could not look away,
Not for many, many days.
Darkness has not stolen it yet,
The very sight in Still Shot Time,
Framed on my mind,
Dazed in my skin,I cannot turn from the morn.
And the longer I stare,
The more familiar those lips look.
