The days to come

The days to come

A Poem by Kasey Miriam

I long for the days
Where we come home
To each other
When the end of each day
Is laying in your arms
Your head resting above my breast
Being able to listen to each other's heart beat each evening.

Waiting for the day that our lives can intertwine
Is much like watching an hourglass
Filled with thick wet sand

I know the anticipation and the feelings. You wrote them well.

Exactly right
Very romantic and with great anticipation. The time and place will come to join the twain.
