June at Grandpa's HouseA Poem by Kasey Miriam
Open field of grass
Young siblings play in the summer. Water gun and a bucket, They splash and play. Grandpa watches with his camera raised Hours of fun at grandpa's house He says "ready" They know what that means Time to pose for a picture. I spun around to look at grandpa Lost my balance, Then my brother nudged me. Tried to catch myself, And plopped into the bucket. With his hands on his hips, And that smirk on his face. I'd say my brother looked pretty proud. Kasey Miriam 2015 © 2015 Kasey MiriamAuthor's Note
