Christmas Time Grocery List

Christmas Time Grocery List

A Poem by Kasey Miriam

Milk, butter, eggs,
Seems like cookie time again.
Sugar and flour,
We always go overboard.
Cookie trays as presents,
Don't forget the ginger,
Fourteen different cookies,
And three weeks later.
Several trips to the store,
To get the ingredients forgotten.
Twenty trays ready,
Just in time for Christmas.

I remember the Christmas' that I made cookies with my Grandmother. Fond memories. I like your style in your poems. It's about your experiences and I can relate to them. Thanks for sharing, brought come memories up for me as well.

Thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I usually make and eat them the day before Saturnalia Eve.
