Scientific Women

Women like her didn't care what men had to say.
Marie Curie a lady, who was Polish like me,
Studied science in her home.
Radioactivity, her main focus,
Would truly be the death of her,
But
With her husband by her side.
It mattered not what people thought,
Women too are smart
And we will study what we want.

An image of an independent strong woman. "Women too are smart," very true. I think we now live at a time when most people know this and see women as equal to men. (of course I am not talking about countries who contain a population of primitive people). You didn't even need to use rhyming for the poem to flow and soud good. i'm glad I read this ;)
