A Poem by

When day fades away
the moon and stars shine brightly
alas, morning light

I really like this. As I understand it, I feel the contempt towards the morning light almost ruining this twilight beauty. I wonder if a comma after "alas" could act as a caesura in order to solidify that idea, "alas, morning light". I think it would physically make the reader sigh along with it.

VERY short poem, which I like. Short, sweet and to the point. Good, simple poem that is easy to grasp, read and understand :)

I felt a sense of relief in reading this. Short poem, few words, though each one so relatable. Good work

Your poem reminds me of the cyclic nature all things. It inspired me to write this gift poem for you which you may keep as your own:
Cycles
Day fades in tonight
bringing forth new tomorrows
cycling dim to bright.
