Stolen Friendships

Stolen Friendships

A Poem by 8petallotus
"

Poem about losing a friend

"
This silence that is breaking, is shaping
Up to be something that is taking
these waves of rage.
And I am waking
slowly on to the dawning
of the morning
that is giving way
to a new day.
it amazes me how
you can work so broken now
without fear or regret
of the collateral damage
left behind
Shaken up
given away your time now
for the new tomorrow how
can you leave your life so willingly
in the hands of another.
the manipulation is something left to be desired
and the twisting of faits mistaken for a greater life
without you
without us
there is nothing so unforgettable than the loss of a friendship
so token in its admiration
and stolen away
by another.
