Glue

Glue

A Poem by 8petallotus

I'm picking up the pieces of my life
and putting them back together.
Many are scattered and lost
harder still is to find an adhesive strong enough.
I long to write out the intensity of my insanity
but I am lacking the passion;
so instead I am here writing you,
giving you all my best lines.
Wasting away, still you wont let me rot;
unless it is a sweet smelling emission that expels from my body.
businessmen and well dressed woman,
fill the coffee shop that gives me your memory.
And only hours away, my love,
I will feel your confidence wrap around me once more.
You are the adhesive, that gules the pieces back together;
and give me hope of recovered parts of my broken life.
