Danielle's Haiku

Danielle's Haiku

A Poem by DaniElle LaPointe
"

Exploring the form of Haiku...

"

Rushing, gushing falls
Flowing away from the source
The cycle repeats

And I wonder why
And I wonder how it works
Compare my life blood

There is no answer
Just rain, river, ocean, rain
And I write with awe

Comprehend science
Existentialism too
I have to relate

Too many clichés
Available to abuse
So I write haiku

I have to say, I'm not usually moved by Haiku (maybe because of the limitations and I've never been a fan of limitations), but your words flow so freely they rise above the constrictions of form! Your writing always has a way of transcending the restictive use of words to convey emotion and light. If I was Canadian I would say "I love it EH!!!"

I so appreciate and admire this... the way you've used haiku and formed more, yet kept it all so simple - no cliches in sight.

Excellent, I have written lots of haiku and never thought about compiling them into a poem like this. What a great Idea. Thank you for sharing.

This is another well written piece. The all inspiring wonders of nature and the unwillingness to destroy it with a handful of clichs.

Another brilliant write...
