A Poem by DaniElle LaPointe

grooves crenelated
mountainside
the highway into deep
Banff
Lake Louise
glacier ground
with linear
crisp
cut scrapes
the gnashing of
a toothy
granite jaw
an old LP perhaps
history of force and
cold pressure
audible intent
needling winds
on cyclical repeat
disco ball snow

peppering white fractional light
the drive
to heaven
powder and kingdom of board
I've seen your first love
from the jealous low
of ground level
I've see her
and smiled in return
she is
wonderful
pure to the letter
I liked her intensely
but decidedly
never met her

You have a unique style for sure but this jaw droppingly beautiful. You write the details in your story in an odd but exquisite manner.Reading it feels cold and hard.
Well done !!!

You so perfectly weave nature and the introspective perfections of your thoughts into a world that transcends all else... Beautiful and breathtaking sounds...
