Eye Of BeholdersA Poem by DaniElle LaPointe
THUNDER and rain at this moment
My island eyes taking in the storm of what you love EYES Green iris the arbutus at Devil's Ladder flecked with Tribune blue swirled with the overcast grey of a Seal Bay storm EYES Valley girl eyes winking at your Valley boy charm Finally, now falling on you once again Years only make you that much more beautiful So what is it they say... that thing about beauty? (Memories nudge my homesickness pulled from me by your laughter and your smile) Yes. It is in the eye of the beholder Now, enough head in the clouds! Devote this stormy day.... to finding a cure for death by lightning. © 2023 DaniElle LaPointeFeatured Review
