Migration

Migration

A Poem by Abhishek Asthana
"

Most people can find someone in their own family who had experienced a migration of some kind, knowing the sense of dislocation, longing and fortitude.

"

The isolation from vernacular has palpably led to the worries,

Stray your valiant mind into the world of memories.

The contemplation of past events, it will bring tranquility,

Be sturdy from inside, accept this transfiguration with equanimity.

Reviving erstwhile episodes will oversee a freakish smile on your face,

Undeniably you will be bound to move rearward at a rapid pace.

Once you perceive this truth, the combat seems invincible,

Arduously you would obtain relations like those, someday it will turn amicable.

it could be geographical segregation but not incongruity of souls,

utterly, it's a worthwhile development and passageway of the new roles !!

I have often wondered how I would cope with migration. The separation from everything I have ever known and friends and family would be almost impossible for me to deal with. I have to say I admire those who have the fortitude to do it. The pull for a better or safer life would have to be incredibly strong. A fine write which is thought provoking Abhishek.

Well I think we are always migrating not always in geographical sense.. but from past to present.. It's funny we don't always notice that though.. I think your writing rings true in this case too..I like the depth you explored in few words. 😊👍

You're welcome!
i have moved "rearward" at times...and very rapidly...
the way the world is today...i have longed to go back, far back---but just yesterday, i was with someone from the past...and suddenly the present and future loomed as possibilities once again.
