eAsT BOunDA Poem by Jonesy“I was given this world, I didn’t make it” Dealt the sore deal but didn’t take it Had to play THAT game… And trust me, I play it, and I play that s**t well… But never faked it
“You know what makes me unhappy” When we’re both walking down the same side of the street Then you cross over out of your way just to pass me When in the fact that I don’t wear a mask But you already got one for me And in advance of our encounter You’ve already masked me!!
“It seems the rain’ll never let up” Went to war for the land of the free To come back to the realization that That whole free s**t Is just a sales pitch and a set-up Truth be told It’s only lead me to my current get-up
“I’m still tryin’ to hold on to surviving friends” Lost so many, to so much And all in the name of Bullshit War, hate, stupidity I ask… Does this demean their end?
“Cause I think we can make it, and in fact I’m sure” My brothers consist of Back, White, Asian, Hispanic We’ve bled together Fought not for that Bullshit lie of freedom But the fact we are brothers F**k "blood" This is far more thick and pure © 2015 Jonesy |
