Debbie

A Poem by Alex Hunter
"

Another little thing

"

You and I have known each other for a long time

It all started back in high school

During our senior year

We’d always have fun

Whether it’d be dropping my yo-yo over your nose

Or simply just fooling around by the lake

But when I wanted to look around the barn with you

A refusal was made, but I didn’t care

As long as I stayed with you

When I was juggling with my pal you were bored

You made me lose when you spoke in that voice

We had fun that night but there is one thing you need to know

The thing that made it great

Was me, not the water bed
