That’s All You Get

“Liz, no.” Rod looked down. “D****t it all to f*****g hell!” Rod’s voice roared tremendously. “The final piece of happiness is taken from my damn pitied life and this is how you make me feel!”
Rod punched the wall with such force that he broke a hole in it.
“I’m gonna get that b*****d.” Rod said as he bolted from the shed.
“Rod!” Alan yelled.
“Wait up.” Veronica said as she wiped a tear from her eye.
Alan, Veronica and Steve bolted from the house. Tim took another look at Liz’s body. A sting ran through Tim’s body. A sting of anger. Finally he and Liz got along, and this is the fate of a young 16 year old girl. First Tammy, then Rich, then Stan, now Liz. This was too much. And Tim was gonna fight it. Even if it killed him. Tim then ran from the shed.

When Tim emerged from the bushes, the group was waiting for him at the door.
“Tim, thank goodness, we thought Crandall got you.” Alan said just as Tim got out.
“No, hurry up, let's get in.” Tim said as the group hurried back in.
The group got inside, locked the doors and looked around.
All they saw was Alan’s aunt sitting on the couch. Alan ran to her. “Aunt Tabitha, we’ve got to get out of he-.” Alan stopped as he got to her and turned away in horror.
The group ran over to them. Alan’s aunt had her neck slit from ear to ear. Blood was everywhere, from her neck to her clothes, to the couch, to the tile.
“3,000 leather.” Alan mumbled as a tear came down his eye.

Upstairs however, something shattered.
“D****t not my 5,000 vase, you f****r!” Alan yelled.
“I’m gonna get em.” Rod said as he bolted up the stairs.
“Hang on.” Tim darted after him
Rod ran all the way up to the 3rd, and final, story in the house where he saw it. A man about 6’3, with a white mask that had a line going down the middle and from side to side. The man had stringy long orange hair. He was wearing a red shirt with overalls, black work boots and yellow gloves.
“Crandall.” Rod whispered, eyes big.
Tim couldn’t believe his eyes either. Alan Crandall, alive right in front of Rod.
“Stand back Tim.” Rod said as he got in his martial arts stance.
“You honestly think you can fight me.” Crandall laughed.
Rod darted at Crandall and laid a few punches at his abdomen but Crandall solid left hooked Rod. Rod tumbled over a little. Not being one to give up, Rod did a nice side kick that hit Crandall upside the chin. Crandall retaliated by punching Rod in the stomach with numerous punches. He then turned to Tim and whacked him hard enough to send him tumbling down the stairs. Crandall turned back but Rod did a dead on back kick that hit Crandall hard enough to knock him down.

Crandall, however, got back up and rammed his fist into Rod’s stomach, knocking the air out of him. Crandall then lifted Rod up and turned to the railing.
He then tossed Rod over it.
Rod landed on the glass coffee table 3 stories down. Alan ran over to him but Rod was out cold.
“He doesn't have a chance; we have to get out of here!” Alan yelled.
Tim ran downstairs and he, Alan, Steve and Veronica all ran out the door. Seconds later, Crandall emerged, breaking the door down and carrying an axe.
“S**t!” Steve yelled as he and the others ran.
Tim knew this day was going to come. Only he did not want it to happen. But he had the willpower. If his friends were in danger, Tim was gonna save them.
