Expeditious Dreams

Expeditious Dreams

A Poem by Alexander Emberson
"

We wake up only to find ourselves wishing the images we dreamt would never stop.

"

I killed it in the morning after,
While the sun came creeping up over bosomed horizons,
And laid myself on soft mechanical springs,
To try and catch the last of expeditious dreams.

Oh wow, this is amazing work!
Concise and beautifully told...the lingering of the state...holding onto the last breath of dreams...but the way you describe this situation is warming and wonderful! xoxo
