White Horned Horse

White Horned Horse

A Poem by Alexander Emberson
"

A poem to express emotion.

"

These feelings are endearing,
Like a child in the sun, running, and jumping on river stones,
One by one by one.
I will look into your eyes,
I will see my life flash by,
As all the emotions you bring out,
Come crashing in, like a first found love, anew again.

So hold your breath,
And take it all in,
Because I am doing just the same, while going all-in.
For you see I’ve seen it in your face, your eyes, your smile,
And it made my heart race, and lips tremble, and mind quake,
But then I fell.
Back into you, and I knew that all was well.

Alexander Emberson
Not how I traditionally write. I like it though, it makes me feel liberated.
