Gone

Gone

A Poem by Alexander Emberson
"

One of my first shots at a Haiku.

"

Her shadowy self
Silhouetted against my trace
This can’t be the end

I feel this one. Her body and soul is gone, leaving behind a painful aura, which is a constant reminder of what once was.
A fine first haiku.
