Failure

Failure

A Poem by 7h3fr34k

Failure

[Intro]

I am a failure

I do not try

[Verse 1]

You can’t win

If you don’t play

My head spins

My minds gray

Such a sorrow

Nothing will be born today

Why do tomorrow

What you could just let slip away

[Bridge 1]

And surely he will tear me down

Make me into a new of him

Slice me up; tarnish my crown

And rip me limb from lifeless limb

[Chorus]

I am no more than Nothing less

I’ve been reborn what I abhor

In shrouded wraps of fear I dress

The god of waste I shall adore

[Verse 2]

Each and every day I say

Each and every time I try

Today’s the day I find a way

Today’s the day I learn to fly

Today I learned that I’m a pig

I feast and thrive on tries and lies

To break apart a heart so big

I’ve damned the hunt to find the prize

[Bridge 2]

I’ve lost all sense of hope or pride

Hiding ‘neath the endless guise

Hoping for that chance free ride

And watching as my whole life dies

[Chorus]

I am no more than Nothing less

I’ve been reborn what I abhor

In shrouded wraps of fear I dress

The god of waste I shall adore

THIS IS AWESOME! i totally love it it has so much feeling and i can really relate to it. It's a great poem and depending on how its sung, it could be a great song. You use great words and phrases and I like how you make things rhyme seemingly without trying.
