Tuscaloosa MoonlightA Poem by 7elevenThe Man in the Moon gazes down upon the terrace and you're overwhelmed with a new found sense of terror that you attempt to hide behind your faking and some flare, for you worry that, if found out, they will stare upon this torn and shattered sordid mess of tears. As your soul is sheered clean free from bone you contemplate your life alone, your dreams destroyed and made a show, for now it seems you finally know that nothing's sacred anymore. You delve through a library of musty tomes of memory, as you're reminded painfully of just how good life used to be back when it was you and me. And as the clock is nearing day you hide the past and from the shame and sleep among rekindled flames, while leaving me to take the blame forsaking all just for a name.
