How I See The World

How I See The World

A Poem by Kat-Marie Berti

I'm living through the sunset of your mind

Who knows the wonders that you'll find

Dig deep now, there's buried treasure to be found

Never fear, all will be a beautiful sound

Wrap yourself in my cozy warm comfort

And forget the past, forget the hurt

The mind and soul hold many bruises

The one that falls is the one that loses

To love is a hard road to walk

Open your heart, throw away the lock

I'm here for you, in good and bad

Learn to overcome what makes us sad

Life is short and rarely sweet

Enjoy it like the summer heat

About
Writing has been my escape since I was a child. My mind is busy working on my latest novel and I also try to find the time to write every single day. Some of my favourite authors: Stephen King, .. more..
