Loneliness shall be my death

Loneliness shall be my death

A Poem by Kat-Marie Berti

Hold me in your arms and kiss me

If you ever let me go

I will drift off to a land

Where dreams and reality intermingle

My memories will stay

But all else will fade away

My heart shall dwell in sadness

For all the ages of this world

Nothing anybody will say or do

Will alter the slow, burning pain

I shall glide within the shadows

And paint the earth with silent tears

Forever more I will be alone

And loneliness shall be my death

this must be going around like the flu I have...such a powerful piece that rips at the fabric of souls reality.

Writing has been my escape since I was a child. My mind is busy working on my latest novel and I also try to find the time to write every single day. Some of my favourite authors: Stephen King, .. more..
