Legacy

Your legacy has finally been acheived

With every pen stroke upon your notebook

Poured your soul to strangers

Wondered about life’s mysteries for so long

Cried yourself to sleep for nights and nights

The torture is over

You may rest from your life in hell

Roasting under the demons tricks and treachery

Against your way in this world

It has never been easy for you

To mold a creation from words in your head

Bring them to life on a simple sheet of paper

You reached your goal

Roughed it through the tidal waves

And deathly cyclones ripping at your mind

Rest now, lay down your thoughts no more

Keep your tears at bay and sleep soundly

Put aside your demons and follow the angels

Although sometimes my demons are my angels when writing horror.
