Sunnyside Down

Sunnyside Down

A Poem by Kat-Marie Berti

Wake up, darling, smell the roasting coffee

How do you like your toast? Buttery and warm?

I’ll make you some eggs, sunnyside down, your favourite

Mmm, eat it all up, don’t leave none to waste

A little more room left if your belly, baby?

I got a surprise for you, can you guess what it is?

No, it’s not a million dollars, you know I’m not that rich

And it ain’t no sports car or hot tub or cruise ship

It’s a nice massage with some delicious lotion and cream

And a few loving kisses for the man I will always love

Happy-Birthday honey, wish you the world and more

Wow a perfect morning for anyone who never had one...nice fantasy poem! LOL I love the over the top emotions in it...perhaps they imply cultural differences. The domestic bliss of it is both attractive and illusory...very interesting effect! Great, natural dialog and passionate sentimentals...

What a wonderful gift to give, the poem I mean. It goes without say the back-rub and kisses are. You did a great job of balancing the work out and making it flow.

Very nice work!!
