In a time

In a time

A Poem by Kat-Marie Berti

In a time when life was young

When the age of man had just begun

The sun was newly birthed

And things were simply beginning

They didn’t dream of the future

Of what the years would bring

They simply enjoyed every day

And accepted what would come

As ages pass and years dissolve

Mankind shifts and transforms

We adapt to changing circumstances

And continue the fight of survival

The mere viewpoint of this piece is phenomenal to me. The artistic touch in it, the frosting.

About
Writing has been my escape since I was a child. My mind is busy working on my latest novel and I also try to find the time to write every single day. Some of my favourite authors: Stephen King, .. more..
