Naked Whisper

Naked Whisper

A Poem by Kat-Marie Berti

Naked whisper of the wind

Moaning against the cold bark

Trees shivering in the frozen air

Land of snow and endless icicles

A moon so pale and bone white

Illuminates this barren world

A tired owl hoots from the highest peak

Before rendering to a slumbering sleep

Nice. Short and simple. Of course, my advice would be to lengthen it a bit, explore the surroundings. Your use of the senses of sight, hearing, and touch all helped bring the scene to life. Well done.

i love the owl at the end

"A tired owl hoots from the highest peak

Before rendering to a slumbering sleep"

i really love the way you ended it- especially with something so clearcut, after such a short and brief piece... it worked really well :)

hugs
