The years have come and gone so fast

My time has vanished before I’m ready

To capture memories and make then last

 

I don’t want to regret anything about you

Our love was strong and seemed eternal

Lasting forever, every day feeling like new

 

But now you’re gone and won’t come back

At night it’s hard to forget and fall asleep

Without thinking of all the things I lack

 

I know it’s over between you and I

The lies and heartbreak are officially over

And now it’s time to sit and cry
