RykerA Poem by Kat-Marie BertiRyker is a man He never cries No place in his heart for love Only hate Drinks his nights away Thinks he’s not worth anything Doesn’t give a damn What anyone thinks about him Dreams about happiness But never tasted it Raised in hell Lives a life of utter uselessness Wishes he could die sooner Than later Grew up with no daddy Beaten every day of his youth Thrown in jail young Knew no other life then his own I fell in love with Ryker The day my eyes rested on his abandoned soul Never judged him Only gave him what he’d never had before Whatever was left Of himself he offered back to me Ryker is not just a man He is mine
