Have a nice day

Have a nice day

A Poem by Kat-Marie Berti

Last night went on for hours

My present in return for the flowers

It takes me a while to sit up

Ask me if I’m sore, I reply “Yup”

Your roses are on the bureau

A token from my love, my beau

I lean in to take in their smell

A ring, it comes from your cell

It’s your job, you become serious

You’re all crisp, no longer mysterious

You ignore me while you chat away

The moment is over, have a nice day

Started out so sweet and sexy, and ended so cold and so abrupt--my kinda gal :)

it is my goal not to have a job that requires a cell phone...so that stuff like this doesn't happen...

great poem. ouch, indeed.

such moments we dont really look into...
such simplicity!
the things we take for granted!

nicely written

That's so bad when that happens. Wonderfully penned. Great job.
