Bringer of peace

Bringer of peace

A Poem by G.A. Grim

If the day ever dawns

That the violence does cease

If this world suddenly wakes

And finds itself at peace

When all of us are equal

And there's no need for crowns

We start to hold each other up

Instead of just pushing down

As a people we share all

And we lose the word greed

All we see is each other

Not just color or creed

On this wonderful day

As the earth sits beguiled

I believe it will be due to

The laughter of a child
