Where we stood

Okay, I have not written poetry in years so I want you guys to give me honest feedback therefore I can grow as a writer.

I might have not been what you wanted me to be

I might have not been what you needed me to be

But here's one thing I observed 

I was more than you deserved

I would always ask myself where we stood

If there was anything I could change I would

I had forgotten what it was like to be me

I'm glad you let me go, that day you set me free
