A rose

A rose

A Poem by E-man

As a rose our love begins to sprout
And cupids arrow hits the center of the clout
Shortly after the leaves begin to appear
Your sweet voice is the only thing I hear
The stem shortly begins to grow some strength
I find myself wanting to be with you at any length
The innocent little plant grows its first thorn
And if we're not careful all we've worked for can be torn
More thorns begin to come our way
But our love will see another day
A small rose bud finally appears
Some hope to fight off the pain and the fears
With some time the bud begins to grow
When I see you I can see your face begins to glow
Now the beautiful flower begins to bloom
And our future together seems like it'll boom
