Lover's Wrath

Dark and wonderful the night was

 Full of desires that slithered through the land

   Raging lust burns a lover's touch

Upon this night the earth appears silent for there is magic in the air

 A dark foreboding that all could feel

   Intense rage built up now burst forth from the hidden door

      Once so loving and caring one turns her face away from the light

         Her torment one to bare for all of time

            Agony turns to hatred and this is truly a saddening time

     Here she comes on silent feet with not a care in the world

For she has lost all that held her heart

     Now she was broken

  So while many quiver in fear she smiles cruelly into the night

     Broken as she is revenge is the only thing keeping her together

Dead eyes peer into the night stalking the prey she has selected 

   Turning just in time they scream in terror

     They had known she had been coming

         had known from the beginning

    When they first plunged a knife through her lover's heart in spite

             Blood now released poured along the streets

 

Another night gone and she looks up at the rising sun

 Tears of red slide down her cheeks 

       she whispers in a hollow voice not yet

   Ducking for cover she waits in the shadows for the moon to take the sun's place

       Revenge is but the soul thing in her mind as time wastes on and on
