Hear Me Scream

The puzzle of life,

the jungle that I am in.

every where,

and no where to go.

Happiness,

was never there.

madness now setting in,

for I am now alone.

You had caught my eye,

something different .

Contrast,

such a delight.

Made me shiver,

warmed my thoughts.

then one day,

in the rain.

You left me cold,

with an aching thirst.

That was when,

perspective changed.

Life flipped,

everything became nothing.

Warmth of mine,

dulled and then left me.

Just as you did,

for you never truly cared.

I now know,

the truth of it.

Horror of this,

lie undone.

Just a pretty picture,

that I got to hold but a moment.

Yet,

still I hurt from the truth.

the memory so clear,

peering at me through hollow eyes.

blunt force,

blood now everywhere.

Pain gripping me,

numbness spreading ever so slow.

Emotionless,

a harmful accomplishment.

For my regret,

must I learn from them.

Or else I'll fall in,

to a trap again.

So here we go,

to ride once more.

through this unwanted adventure,

of personal torment.

so fasten your seat belts,

Open your eyes.

 hear me scream.

an interesting expression of thoughts...life can be a puzzle at times...and yet the screams are the reality...nice work...
